Tenkay Electronics is committed to providing our customers with quality products and a high level of service. All processes involved in the procurement, production, test and dispatch to customer are planned and monitored to ensure conformance to our customers' requirements.
To this effect Tenkay have achieved certification to the standards ISO9001 & ISO14001. The IPC-A-610 & IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards have also been adopted to define the requirements of production workmanship.
Many of our processes are automated to ensure cost effectiveness. The equipment we use in cable preparation and SMT placement has monitoring capability to guarantee consistency of the final product.
Where manual operations are required, build methods are documented and staff are trained to ensure conformance.
Cables and wiring looms are tested on an MKS Automeg four wire cable tester to verify connectivity and insulation. For other assemblies we will work with the customer to define test specifications. We also have a range of standard electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Function Generators.
We are very proud of our premises, equipment and methods and welcome external audits by potential clients.
