Within our automated wire preparation facilities are the Schleuniger automated wire preparation cutters, semi-automated JST terminator and AMP crimping machine. For larger batch quantities or manufacturing quantities, Tenkay Electronics Ltd are proud to announce the commissioning of the Artos MTX fully automated wire preparation Uk. machine. This machine can be programmed to cut, ‘slug’, twist, tin, and terminate at either one or both ends of single core cable. The automated wire preparation facility to terminate both chain type and or pre- or fully insulated terminals makes this a very versatile and cost effective service. Adding to this is the capability to ident your wires. As part of the automated wire preparation service, the ‘Image’ ink jet marking system allows us to ‘ink jet’ mark the ends of your wires with letters or numbers or a combination of both, so omitting the requirement for bulky conventional markers!

All of our applicators are fully calibrated every three months to BS5G178 so ensuring total continuity of crimps. Should our automated wire preparation machinery find ‘fault’ with termination pressure, these are simply rejected by the machine. Crimp force monitoring will not allow a faulty crimp to get into production!
